A bedtime story for kids with wild imaginations and a craving for something scary. A place where nightmares came to life, which was a scary thought for someone who had dreams like his.

Summary
Despite it all, Richie suited Buggy well enough for most people to believe that he was Buggy's dæmon. It made sense for an Emperor, a life-long criminal, one of Roger’s boys, to have a lion for a dæmon. And those who knew him a little better, those who know that Buggy was a fraud and a coward and a failure with the devil’s luck, would see Richie whimper under a bird’s glare and still buy that Richie was Buggy's true dæmon.
In a universe where a person's souls walks beside them in the form of an animal, Buggy's false soul is dying.
