Summary
When the Outbreak hit, Harry Potter was not anywhere he should have been.
Stranded in America, Harry must fight his way to survive and find a cure for the muggle plague that is somehow bringing the dead back to life. But with the power set to go out at the CDC and no cure in sight, Harry turns his focus to finding survivors and protecting those he can until Hermione and Dr. Jenner can find a way to end this thing. He runs into a group of survivors stranded on a roof in Atlanta and from there everything slowly starts to change.
What is one lone wizard supposed to do when surrounded by strangers at the end of the world? Will Harry be able to save these people and get back home to those he calls family? And Why is it that the longer he stays with these American Muggles the more a part of him want's to stay?

Imprisoned and forced to fight for the Vatican for the past ~800 years Abel is a slightly different man. His existence and history hidden from all those but his jailer he is known only as the Weapon for most of history. A myth whispered about by the Vatican's enemies. But with the ascension of Alessandro XVIII things have been different. Instead of the Pope, it is a Cardinal who acts as his Master, one Caterina Sforza, and she likes to think herself kinder than most. Disguising him as a regular Priest, an agent of her AX he is allowed to live out among the world and go on missions that are more than just "go here, kill this person" but this small taste of false freedom only makes his chains feel heavier and more apparent. It is not until he meets and befriends the young courageous Esther that he begins to see a faint glimmer of hope of reuniting with his sister and re-joining his people.

“No.” Tony shook his head, heart beating wild and rapid, the monitors he was hooked up to a cacophony of sound. “You might have missed it, Strange, but last time I tried to prepare the world for what was coming, half the universe died. Why me?” Why not someone else, why not Steve fucking Rogers, the man with the plan, why not Rhodey, why not Pepper, why him?
“Because you’re a scientist. A futurist. We chose you, Stark. But you have to accept.”
Tony didn’t want to.
“You’re going to regret it,” Tony said quietly. The beeping of the monitors had slowed, the panic had faded away leaving only a quiet exhaustion.
“I don’t think so.” And Strange sounded so sure.
Tony closed his eyes. He wanted to say no, wanted to let go of the weight of the world that had already crushed him. But he couldn’t do that. Couldn’t do that when Strange had used his last chance to save the world, banking on him. “Alright.” He swallowed hard, forcing himself to nod. “Okay. Send me back.”
