Summary
Adjusting to the world in the 21st century has been anything but easy. Evie is still mourning the loss of her life. But the one thing that makes up for it, is being reunited with her love, Bucky. Together they've lived in peace for several months in Romania. That peace is not meant to last though. Their happiness is bound to be ruined.
It starts with the death of a former friend and ally. Then ruin comes in the shape of Bucky being blamed for a terrible bombing that took the lives of many. With the world wanting justice, how can they prove his innocence? Evie must confess her secret to Steve for help. Will Evie end up agreeing that it always ends in a fight? Especially when the powers she gained from HYDRA back in 1943 make her a target.

Summary
Evelyn Moore was born in 1922 to loving parents and five older brothers in New York City. All her older brothers serve in the military and her life changes when her oldest is killed December 7th, 1941 in the attack on Pearl Harbor. Determined to join the cause, Evelyn drops out of medical school and enlists as a nurse against her parents wishes.
