The foxes had never known the truth before his “death” and as a result he’d never let them get to know him too well. They knew things like his favorite color (gray) and his preferred spots on the locker room benches (the ends closest to the doors), but they hadn’t learned anything meaningful before he was forbidden from seeing them ever again.
Eventually he’d realized that that made him sad in a way. They were the closest thing he’d had to a real family arguably ever, and Andrew had been…more than that. He wasn’t sure they would’ve liked Jackson Turner at all.

Summary
Nobody knew where the vampires came from. They weren't genetic as far as anyone could tell, popping up randomly in bloodlines without any rhyme or reason.
But with a mere .5% of people affected, the ministry was able to keep an iron hold on its vampiric population. They were able to control access to blood, access to pretty much everything, labeling each individual's ID with a V that could never be mistaken for anything else.
Regulus Black had been diagnosed with vampirism when he was nine months old.
His entire life it's followed him like a crimson cloud, classmates hateful comments, being unable to be in the sun, the clinical blood transfusions three times a week just to keep him alive. It wasn't great, but it was his normal.
So when Evan Rosier, a transfer student, introduces himself to Regulus as a proud vampire and invites him to be his friend, it feels more alien than those books Barty always talked about.
But as the two grow closer, and a revolution claiming group rises to power, Regulus is forced to consider who the real monsters are.Updates on Sundays!

New pro-heroes, including the famously unlucky Class 1-A have graduated and made waves on the hero scene both domestically and internationally. The general populace was more than eager to root for these new hereos, after all they represented the time after the fall of All Might and the defeat of All for One, and it was reassuring to see young faces that hadn't been involved or been scarred by the dark times.
So when the tapes are released in 2234, ten years after the fact and revealing that Japan had placed its young students on the frontline of a warzone...let's just say it doesn't go over particularly well.

“Homework?”
Buck snatched the book before he could react, leaving Jackson sitting on the couch textbookless and page lost.
“Since when do you have Spanish homework?” Buck asked, doing circles around the couch.
“Since I was in college Buck, give it back.” Jackson did his best to hide his annoyance, but he must’ve not done a great job because Buck tossed it back.
Jackson was easily able to find his page again, it had been tabbed with a bright pink sticky note labeled ‘figure this out’ back when Neil was still taking Spanish in a classroom setting. In reality that’d only been four months ago, but it felt like a different lifetime altogether. To be honest it was.
“Since when does Jackson speak Spanish?”
Eddie leaned against the edge of the couch, perched like some strange bird.
“What gives dude?”
“I’m a foreign languages major,” Jackson eventually said, “I’ve been doing Spanish for almost a year.”

Summary
[note: the series is heavily inspired and based on dark matter by mysterycyclone, this series started essentially as a fanfic of a fanfic but as it develops i'm taking my own spin on things. also its very much crack sometimes treated seriously so, dont expect a masterpiece. im just having fun here]
mini fics and oneshots set within an au where peter is thrown into another dimension (post the battle on titan in infinity war) and ends up in gotham city where he grapples with being brought back from the dead, ghosts of familiar faces in his mind and all around him and a family of bats and birds that become another family to him as well.
