Summary
There are many dangerous things about Saparata, but by far the most dangerous is simply how well he knows Fluixon. It would be difficult to not know Flux, at this point, after cycling through what must be a million universes by now. He knows Flux's habits and patterns. He understands the things that Flux doesn't yet know about himself.
Which means when they spawn into a new world again, whatever uncountable number they’re on, Flux knows he's short on time. Because Saps is a heat-seeking missile, and Flux is his only target. Sooner or later, Saparata will find his way to him.

Summary
Life is a strategy game for Thomas, always has been. He prides himself on his intellect: the ability to step back, evaluate each detail logically, and make the most rational, thoughtful decision. But there is no intellectualizing what's happening between him and Micro. There's no rational explanation for the feeling in Thomas's gut whenever Micro so much as looks in his direction. Except that he has, somehow, fallen head over heels for Micro.
Thomas has a crush. And he's crushing hard.

He traces out where they’ve been, where they’ve started, and where they might be going. This highway leads all the way to the coast, where the rest of the world crumbles into the ocean. Behind them is everything that has ever existed.
or, Flux runs away to see the ocean, he and Saps are soulmates, and only one of them knows how to swim.

Summary
He was alone, his back was turned to the door and his military jacket was draped over a nearby chair. He was watching various recordings of Saparata fighting, zooming into the point where Saparata’s sword met its victim. He went back 10 seconds, then watched it again, his hand tracing the same spot the sword hit.
It hit him right then and there; Fluixon was rehearsing his own death.
