They glanced at him from across the net. Shouyou arranged his face so that it wasn’t obvious that he was listening, but he could feel like he was failing at it.
“Oi. What are you up to?” Kageyama glanced at the Brazilian team, they were watching them like a hawk so Shouyou sent a wave their way. The Brazilian team waved back with hesitation.
“Eavesdropping.” He answered Kageyam with a grin. The opposing team was staring at Shouyou with uncertainty. It’s not like he was gonna bite! They didn’t need to act so cautious around him.
[For real? Is that Ninja Shouyou?] One of them exclaimed.
Shoyou laughed. [Yep! Ninja Shouyou in the flesh.] He said in Portuguese.
All of them turned to him with wide eyes.

After dying heroically, Jinu is reincarnated as a tabby cat — because karma’s a comedian. The celestial condition? Adrien didn't move for several seconds, but his face was scrunched up in an adorable way that suggested he was closer to being awake than asleep. She was just beginning to think that maybe she should say something when Adrien moved; he scooted towards her, closing the handful of inches between them, and laid his head in her lap.
"You don't mind, do you, My Lady?" he mumbled, nuzzling into her legs.
Marinette's thought process was something along the lines of "SFJLSDFJSPILHWR". With no French language equivalent, she remained silent.

In reality, their Kwamis made a small trade so they might live on, now five years after the fact, Adrien is making a comeback, dating Marinette for a full six-months, but the anniversary of the superhero's death sends him into a period of mourning again. Not to mention the fact that Paris has decided it is time for a vigil.
Marinette decides to drag her boyfriend/boss to the vigil, but discovers a very distinctive box, with a very distinctive ring inside, she knows immediately what it is, and when she confronts Adrien about it their secret identities are out the window with one another. This leaves only their Kwamis gone from their lives, but could that change too?
