Summary
Legend has it the Hatake Clan is an off shoot of the Inuzuka Clan. It's where they get their sharp teeth, affinity for ninken, and tendency to casually adopt every other person they meet.
When Kakashi realizes Naruto's assigned caretakers aren't even sort of doing their job, the young anbu decides to do a bit of long term babysitting (and possibly commit treason). What follows is the story of Uzumaki-Hatake Naruto and his unconventional family.
This is primarily a slice of life piece and heavy on both fluff and angst. It covers a lot of the canon events and has cannon typical violence/darker themes. It can be read as a stand alone, but is the first work planned in this AU.

Tobirama can't stand to watch how much Hashirama is struggling. Madara's betrayal and then being forced to kill his best friend has made him miserable. He feels like there is nothing he can do to make his brother happy. Until one day he realizes he might have the solution, if he hadn't been around maybe Madara would have stayed..... So he attempts the impossible. An experimental Jutsu he never intended to finish.

Meanwhile, Tobirama is torn between murder and fondness and Hashirama is one affectionate gesture away from climbing into Tobirama’s lap during diplomatic talks.
The misunderstanding lasts far longer than it should.

Summary
Being reborn with her memories intact was pretty great. Being reborn into a world plagued by war was a little less great.
Being reborn literally decades before canon events fucking sucked.
Senju Tsunade wants what she was previously denied: a long, peaceful life, a family that loves her and a job that brings her purpose. Instead she gets life as a career killer, a family destined to die before she reaches adulthood and no job prospects that wouldn't include murder.
Awesome.
This story was tailored to create a believable romance for Orochimaru that neither redeems him nor portrays him as a toxic, possessive, obsessive monster. The first part of the story will focus on Tsunade to show how she becomes the sort of person that could have a relatively healthy relationship with someone like him.
The fic is COMPLETE.
