Slowburn with a healthy dose of angst, whump, and smut.
Rose was months from freedom. After 10 years living a double life under a tyrant's thumb, all she had to do was outlast the contract that kept her trapped. She'd leave with nothing but her name, the only part of herself she'd managed to keep secret from the world, but she would be free. The only joy she'd been able to carve out for herself in those years was the rush of the fight, of screaming in unison with the masses, of momentum... It was the promise of freedom that kept her going. Wasn't it?
The crowd was all she knew. She was forever surrounded by the masses, and yet so alone.
The Doctor was adrift. He'd been adrift for years, searching for something. Anything. He'd been everywhere trying to find it, and he knew it was out there. He just didn't know what IT was. He'd devoted himself to medicine, and then traveling, and then the stars, and while he loved them all, something was still missing.
When the two of them meet in a crowd, both of them are immediately struck with the thought, "There you are." But as they fall together faster than the speed of gravity, will they be able to hold on?

Summary
The new and improved Hazbin Hotel is open for business, and with a steady flow of guests seeking redemption, Charlie couldn't be happier. But when Alastor continues to shirk his duties as the hotel's host, she has no choice but to confront him. She's shocked to find him shut away in his radio tower, slowly succumbing to his deadly angelic wound. Much to the radio demon's chagrin, she dedicates herself to his recovery.
Maybe his brush with death made him sentimental. Or maybe the infection from his wound messed with his brain. Whatever the reason, Alastor finds himself not only enjoying the princess's company but yearning for it long after he's recovered. More than just her positive energy begins to creep under his skin, and as he starts to see her in a new light, he begins to question things about himself and his reasons for being at the hotel.

Summary
In which Alastor realizes he committed a bit too hard to the whole found-family gag, gets fucked up by the First Douchebag, and tries to pretend everything is fine. Shockingly, Charlie is not oblivious. Even more shockingly, the person she goes to for help is Vox.
This turns out to be a case of using the wrong equation but still getting the correct answer.

Overlord Vox, established member (read: leader) of the Vees, is kind of obsessed with this guy that's been catching a lot of media attention up top! What can he say? He really appreciates an artist! But when he finds out that his favorite true crime podcaster has been knocked off the mortal coil, the irony is just too much!
He knows what they say about meeting your heroes, but…simping for serial killers, it’s not like the guy ended up in heaven, so what’s truly stopping Vox from rolling out the red carpet and giving a warm welcome to the one newcomer to hell that really deserves it?

“Tell me you want me,” he says, voice low and rough from sleep. The room is swathed in dark shadows, the only light that of the glow of the ever-present neon signs outside the tower seeping in through the half open curtains.
“I want you,” Alastor says immediately, voice so bland and lifeless Vox slips his hand around to the back of Alastor’s neck to jerk sharply on his hair, head snapping back.
“Say it,” he bites out, “like you mean it.”
Vox finally has Alastor right where he's always wanted him, in any way he's ever imagined.
So why is it still not enough?

Things fall apart when Lucifer finds out about the deal just as Alastor decided to take the next step in their relationship, and a misunderstanding is had.

It was for this possibility, that he chose the ocean.
Alastor, in contrast, went to sea because he saw no other path. He sailed alone. His journey was not guided by longing for adventure, but by the pursuit of a lost treasure. Privilege, dreams worth cherishing, the thrill of discovery, even companionship—none of these had ever been his to claim. For him, piracy was no indulgence; it was necessity, the only road left open.
That was, at least, what he believed—until he met someone.

Vox puts him to sleep, like any good friend. And after Alastor is asleep, Vox’s fun night really starts.

“And Lucifer,” Vox continues conversationally as he rubs his fingertips over the hot, strained fabric. “I know you’re not a big fan of the guy. I can see why—he is so beneath the both of us.”
“Y-yes,” Alastor gasps, bucking into Vox’s touch. “He is.”
“It was thrilling, wasn’t it? To see someone finally put him in his place. Completely decimate him in front of all those people; people who were once his.”
“I—I’ve been wanting to do that.”
“I’m sure.” Vox unbuttons Alastor’s slacks, slow and unhurried like he isn’t seconds away from snapping and just ripping all his clothes off. “But it was me who did it. I humiliated the King of Hell. Not you.”
After the rally, Vox finds Alastor hot and bothered in his chair from watching him expertly manipulate the crowd. It's truly his winning day.
