Roger finds something on Laugh Tale island. An old God trapped and so desperate for adventure they’d break themselves apart and send their powers out into the world for a taste of freedom. The world calls them devil fruits so that must make them the Devil. Regardless, Roger doesn't plan to leave them there.
Unfortunately he also has other plans. Leaving Rouge alone to raise two of their sons, find the other two and pick up more along the way. She fights to keep them alive with the world government chasing them down. All while trying to figure out how to raise the literal Devil.

During the final battle on Laugh Tale, Law performs the Eternal Youth surgery to save Luffy’s life. He wakes up afterward.
Luffy doesn’t.
The good news is, Nika is as interested in getting Luffy back as any of them. The bad news is, it’s going to require a trip to the heart of the sea, where the lost souls go.
And the strange news is, Law seems to be the only one who knows the way…but he doesn’t know why.

Fate has a funny way of reshackling him, though. And some things, some experiences, you just can't heal from.

The walk to his flat feels no different than climbing a mountain when he's this tired. Another long day, another long shift, all Harry wants to do is go home and collapse onto his mattress.
He's taking a shortcut through a narrow alley, the rain pouring down hard, when he stumbles onto a concerning looking lump. It's humanoid, almost.
It's just his luck that his curiosity leads him to a man bleeding out; it's his own piss-poor decisions that lead to that very same man kidnapping him. Piss-poor decisions like saving the bugger.

We all know that Luffy is possesive as hell over those he loves right? What if in Marineford he goes fuck this and becomes the gremlin his brothers and gradnfather know from the Grey Trminal, going through anyone and everyone to get to what is his. Thos large animals on Dawn were good forsomething as he'd be able to tear through a large portion of the marine forces bc of that leaving the WBP to deal with the vice admirals and admirals. But as they need to keep one chaos gremlin in mind and fight the largest fleet up until that moment, they can't do anything underhand like with the PX-models, the walls or even downing Marco. Ace Lives AU, Luffy is able to tap into Nika and heal faster.
