It was only an echo, though. It was only a dream. It was only fog, lingering at the back of his mind, accompanied by the nagging feeling that he was forgetting something important.

Summary
Sylvie was taking it easy. Smiling at customers when they approached the counter, sitting in the back of her truck on her lunch break, stopping by the record shop on her way home from work just to see a familiar face, falling asleep to a shitty movie. It was a type of peace that was starting to relax her muscles, slowly erasing thousands of years of running and surviving.
The story had ended when Loki had stepped beyond their sight. When Sylvie had left Mobius standing on the sidewalk outside the house of his variant. Now, she was playing out a very long epilogue filled with nothing but quiet tranquility.
At least, that’s what she wanted. Her life didn’t perfectly fit the bill, unfortunately.

Summary
Loki opened their mouth to call him out, but then hesitated. The glee Mobius got from convincing or tricking them was adorable – and it would go away if they pointed out the scheming. Giving in past then would simply be an act of pity on Loki’s part. Mobius would give up and let it go.
So, instead, they said, “Alright, fine. I want to try lasagna.”
There it was: an immediate sparkling of victory in Mobius’s eyes. He tossed the case file onto the table and stood up. “Well, you’re in luck. I know just the place.”

Loki gives in to Mobius and they go on a definitely-not-a-date with him to try lasagna for the first time.
