An old story, one never told, the remainder of its existence in bones, some hidden so carefully in places many wolves would never look, others destroyed by the clans. There is a reason why the MacHeaths never had natural gnaw wolves, after all.
In a time left to rot and be forgotten, a single gnaw wolf of the MacHeath clan encounters an epiphany- a disbelief in the great chain’s order, the idea that cursed wolves are meant to be abused during life, the idea of stationary clan systems, where worth is based on birth.
When she looks into a forest fire one day- a rare sight, she begins to see visions of a wolf in the future: a noble and kind wolf like the clan wolves- yet not part of any clan.
She realizes a new world can be forged- one that doesn’t put the bloodlines and the great chain above all else. One where the ‘necessary’ evil of the tummfraw is now obsolete, where all wolves can be equals, without having to prove themselves.With the assistance of other gnaw wolves and clanners, Miekra and her new pack finally leave the beyond. But even that isn't the ending, for shadows lurk in the snow willing to drag them back, and they must adapt to new terrain.

Arrowroot is not from this world. A caramel lizard, transported from her former home to a strange new land by unknown forces, Arrowroot has trained as a warrior (and tamed beast) alongside the First Watcher.
However, her tamer suddenly vanishes, and Arrowroot sets out to find her- or get sidetracked by a heroic honeybee, And a hyperactive feral cookie, And a lava breathing dragon, And a giant scary lizard. And entire towns that need her help! With so many cookies counting on her and her new party, Arrowroot begins to think that staying with her tamer isn’t priority after all.
On hiatus because i walked outta the crk fandom. I'll probably come back sometime but I'm currently looking for something to connect the the current part of the story with the next major event

He cannot change the living world. He leaves no footprints, tears vanish the moment they leave his skin, no fabric moves no matter how much he yanks. His voice makes no vibration, no change that any ear can pick up on.

Summary

So when a venture with his Grandmother takes him into the fallen La Manchaland, Jia Baoyu decides to try and help someone, one last time.
Don Quixote of La Manchaland has spent the last two hundred years dwelling on all his failures, and has come to the only logical conclusion: That his nature as a bloodfiend prevents any manner of change, and that his dream had been nothing but a fantasy. With his family dead, he has resigned himself to the same fate; only to end up living with a small human child who still has a dream of his own.
Maybe they can both learn something from each other.
(Or: Jia Baoyu dreams, Jia Mu schemes, and Don Quixote relearns what it means to try.)
