Chloe gasped and took a step back, unsure what she was looking at.
Alerted by her presence, the fluffy lump shivered, yawned and unfurled its long limbs, standing to reveal itself as a sleek, jet black cat with whisky-coloured eyes. It fixed its gaze on her and swished its elegant tail, as if to say, "hello there".
