It didn't end there because next thing Damian knew Aaron was on top of him, reigning down first after first, but this time they weren't to his face, that way they couldn't be see. Aaron was an offensive lineman for his high school football team, and he wrestled, which meant he was big. Bigger than Damian, and stronger too, and while he was a far cry from Robins skills, he was good enough to at least make sure Damian couldn't get back up, not without fighting, and he refused to hurt Aaron. After all he was a civilian. And we don't hurt civilians
He was trapped. By the time Aaron was done his body was bruised and hurt, but he forced himself up. He practically ran to the bathroom to cover it all up with makeup, just in case, but the moment he laid eyes on his knife he had a new plan.
You couldn't even defend yourself from a civilian. What kind of assassin are you?

OrDamian tried to kill himself but fails. He soon learns that his actions have consequences, and he's awakened a side of protective/possessiveness in his brothers that he had no idea existed.

“I think I’m being stalked.” Steve mentally smacks himself as soon as the words leave his mouth. He grimaces instead when Robin stops so suddenly that she drops the top book from the comically large stack she’s carrying to the front display. She carefully sets the rest down, turns, then responds so loudly it makes Steve flinch, “What?!”

The anniversary of Eddie's death has always hit Steve pretty hard. This year is no different, only he feels like the entirety of his life has been building atop of his shoulders. All the nightmares and regrets and fights. He can barely take care of himself anymore. His friends are worried, and he doesn't know how to convince them all he's fine. Hell, he can't even convince himself.
He finds he doesn't care. Not when he's been dead since 1986, waiting for the world to catch up.
But then everything changes when the stalking shadow he assumed was all a part of his imagination begins killing those around him. With all the death and blood and gore, he realizes that maybe living isn't so bad.

Summary
Steve registers it somewhat; giggles and flying popcorn and bickering over the last soda, but it all feels distant--far away. At some point Eddies hand slides down from his hair and over his waist; slips under his shirt to trace shapes on the soft skin of Steves back. Its good. Here, in their little bubble, everything is warm and soft, and what was the beginning of a migraine has dissolved into nothing but a blissful calm.

Billy Hargrove and Eddie Munson are trouble separately, but together they pose an even greater mystery. One that Steve doesn't even want to begin to solve. So why can't Steve just tell them to fuck off, and why is he leading them to the break-room to "talk", and why are they looking at him like he's gone and hung the moon and painted the stars?-or-
Billy and Eddie are weak and Steve is the most delectable thing on the menu. And also there's time travel.
