The second his words landed, Rui felt the entire class’s gaze on his back, including Tsukasa’s. Now he has really done it……Rui was still smiling, but is freaking out internally, his brain scrambling to think of a way to frame it as a joke.
“Hmm……You’re right, love is a necessary experience too,” shock soon disappeared from Tsukasa’s face as he connected the dots. “Romance is the most classic theme in shows, so the experiences I gain from dating will be a great help to our future shows, what a nice suggestion!”
“Then, I must ask you for this favor. Rui, please go out with me!”

Summary
A few things started to change in SEKAI after Rui and Tsukasa started dating.
When Rui first visited a few days after they got together, he noticed a faint rainbow far in the distance, beyond the trains in the sky. The plushies also started treating him differently: a bit clingier, they’d crowd around Rui whenever he was alone asking what he was up to. The plushies would mostly act normal around Rui whenever they entered as a group, however.
The rainbow stayed, initially. Then Emu-kun pointed it out excitedly, Tsukasa had seemed to pale a bit, but laughed it off and said new changes were always welcome as it meant personal growth.
The next day the group entered SEKAI together, the rainbow was gone.
After Rui and Tsukasa start dating, Rui notices some less favourable changes to SEKAI. Rui tries to find a way to comfort Tsukasa through his new feelings, whilst the two of them work on a new robot together that Rui is struggling with.

Rui is no fool. He knows his parents were lucky. He likely will not be.
But there is a small part of his heart, one he holds out just in case that maybe, just maybe, he'd be as lucky as his parents were and he'd find someone who'd be willing to stay with him.
Understanding wasn't necessary. Loving, even, wasn't necessary. He just wanted a companion like his mother had been to his father. Someone to confide in, someone that made him feel less alone.

Rui, a noble from the Kamishiro family, who guards the precious scecret to harrnessing Mana, receives a courting call from Tsukasa Tenma, one of the most sought after nobles his age. The two have never spoken a word to each other, but Tsukasa is now asking for Rui's help under the guise of courting. Agains his better judgement, Rui agrees to help.
