He understands the reasons behind it - they must emanate terror and respect in equal measure, give off the impression of a crown on each one of their heads, reassure the world of a stable equilibrium that serves no one but the five (six) bastards at the top of this doomed world - but it makes him angry and somber that no one will see what's behind those threatening faces beside him.

È seduto nel giardino enorme della casa di Viola - casa di Manuel, che ve n'era fuggito tra le braccia quasi quelle di Villa Balestra lo soffocassero - circondato dalla musica alta e cacofonica che gli martella il cervello, sempre uguale da quelle che paiono ore. L'umido dell'erba gli è ormai entrato nelle ossa, ma il freddo che dovrebbe sentire è messo a tacere dal tepore della vodka che dalla bottiglia stretta tra le mani passa alla bocca, alla gola, allo stomaco in una scia infuocata che ha imparato essergli di conforto come nient'altro al mondo.

Incontra solo il suo riflesso.
Manuel se n'è andato e ciò non fa che avvalorare l'idea per cui fosse in ospedale solo per parlare con Dante, non con Simone, non per accertarsi delle sue condizioni. Dovrebbe fare più male, forse, ma l'apatia è prigione e mastio assieme e quasi prova conforto a leggerla nel suo stesso volto che lo guarda da quella finestra.
Ma non è il suo volto, quello.
È un guizzo, un flash fulmineo e improvviso che attraversa i suoi occhi dipinti nel vetro e che in qualche modo - per quanto privo di senso sembri - gli conferisce l'assoluta certezza che non è se stesso che sta guardando.

Angel does not expect to come into contact with anyone from the Hazbin Hotel after he surrenders himself to Val's control. Several months later, the radio demon comes knocking on Val's door for a deal with Angel.
Angel curls further into himself, chin tucked all the way down to his chest. "What do you want, Alastor?" He grits his teeth against the bubbling anticipation in his gut. "You only have me for the hour." He just wants to get whatever this is over and done with.
"Hm," Alastor tilts his head to the side. "Is that how you address all the many men you've serviced in my position?"

Grief brings out a new side of Luffy that they’re unfamiliar with, but they’ve never been a crew that backs down from a challenge. And they swear to never let him cry alone again.
Basically, the strawhats give Luffy everything he asks for.
