He waved his hand violently in front of his face. He couldn't see the motion. He couldn't hear the woosh of the air.
"Luffy?!" he screamed. But the sound didn't reach him. He didn't know if he was shouting or just opening his mouth in the dark.He lunged forward, reaching out blindly for the sturdy oak counter he knew was right in front of him. He needed to anchor himself. He needed to feel something solid.
His hand shot out.
It should have slapped against wood.

Sanji struggled to keep his eyes open as he was carted down a bright hallway. A voice lingers as if underwater.
“Of all the Vinsmokes to bring me? This is less than ideal.”
It doesn’t escape his notice that there are five cells along the wall.
“We’ll make due. The tests are ready, there’s no point in withholding them just because it’s the weakest specimen.”
Or that he’s placed in number three.

“Hey, Mosshead.” Sanji patted Zoro’s face, trying to get a response. “What the hell happened?”
The action caused Zoro’s head to lull to the side. There, Sanji’s sharp eyes spotted the half obscured thin, feathered dart under the high collar of his nakama’s coat. Sanji carefully pinched it between forefinger and thumb and pried it out of the swordsman’s neck. He brought it closer to inspect. It was a primitive dart made from animal bone with white, wispy feathers tied to one end and the other side stained with Zoro's blood.
Two thoughts popped into Sanji’s mind as he twirled the dart between his fingers. One, that he hoped the dart was not poisonous, and two, that the winter island the Thousand Sunny had docked at was not uninhabited as they first believed.

Or the straw hats dock at an island to restock on provisions when Sanji and Zoro fall into an underground ice tower where they must find each other to escape. -

Summary
Sanji’s brothers are two things. Emotionless monsters, and unable to resist their father’s commands.
After Judge Vinsmoke breaks his promise to leave Sanji alone, he finds himself trapped once more in Germa’s labs, subjected to cruel experiments. When the crew finds him, he still has his emotions intact.
But not his freedom.
All Zoro wants is to talk about Whole Cake Island and their will-they-won’t-they relationship. All Sanji wants is to get out of this whole situation with his sanity. Will the crew be able to figure out what’s wrong with Sanji before it kills him… or before he kills them?
