‘One letter detailed how to take care of him when he was having a panic attack and exactly what breathing exercises to do. Another listed all the best places to find what the letter dubbed “ingredients for Shane’s bird food diet.” There was even one on how he liked his baths to be on the rare occasion he took one. In some weird cryptic way all the letters Ilya had addressed to himself were about how to take care of Shane. The idea of it all would’ve been a sweet sentiment if he weren’t aware of Ilya’s father’s history with dementia and that made his mind go to the worst case scenario.’
Or, Shane finds letters Ilya wrote to himself and a misunderstanding follows along with lots of angst, comfort, and Hollanov being painfully in love with each other.
