“And who are you?” he said and turned, made his way over to Alexander’s desk, unhurried and as if he didn’t have a care in the world. Alexander’s nostrils flared with the renewed heat in his abdomen–for very different reasons than before–and he slapped his palms flat to the table and launched himself from his chair, leaning over the desk and glaring at the General, who to his chagrin only seemed to become more amused by the second.
“I’m Alexander Hamilton,” he bit out. “I’m a man.”
Washington stopped in front of his desk and crossed his arms over his chest. The man had to look down at him, and Alexander straightened up to lessen the height difference.
It didn’t work very well; the top of his head still only just reached up to Washington’s nose.
…another kind of warmth stirred in his gut.
God-fucking-damned.
“No,” Washington said with a small grin and reached out to tap two of his fingers up against his chin, like he was a child- “You’re no man. You’re a boy.”

Summary
“Did you come for any important reason?” Washington asked, trying to convey urgency into his tone and hoping that it would give away his meaning well enough. It didn’t seem to work, as Lafayette only looked confused, tilting his head to the side slightly like an uncertain puppy. He opened his mouth and then closed it again, before taking a deep breath through his nose as though he were steeling his nerves for a task that scared him greatly. Perhaps he was. Then-
“Je suis vraiment désolé de vous déranger si vous êtes occupé, monsieur le Général ! Mais je voulais parler un peu, et avec cette tempête il n’y a rien à faire… alors, si cela ne vous importune pas, je souhaiterais passer un moment en votre compagnie? Je partirai bien sûr si je vous gêne!”Lafayette just wants to spend some time with Washington, except neither of them understand each other. (There are translations for the French in the author's notes at the end, don't worry. Although if you read it without the translations first, maybe you'll get poor Washington's confusion, so that could work too.)

A re-telling of the Titanic saga, with both historical facts and elements of the 1997 James Cameron film. The main focus of the story is William Murdoch. Cameron owns Jack & Rose, I'm just taking them out to play for a while and fix some things I didn't love about the film (But I still do love it! One of my favourites!) We'll begin much earlier than Titanic though. and see how William might have come to meet his wife and what their life may have been like prior to that fateful voyage...

It's 1912 and Aziraphale, not wanting to be lonely during his mission aboard Titanic, invites Crowley along for a cruise. But he boards the ship before knowing exactly what his mission is. When he learns Heaven wants to teach humanity a lesson for the claim even God couldn't sink it, it could damage his relationship with Crowley, who has his own views on Heaven's need to punish innocents. Can he repair things with Crowley and can they work together to save as many lives as possible?
Please note: There are two versions of this, one rated Mature (for sexy times) and one rated Teen (friendship/ace-aro relationship, depending on how you choose to interpret it). The only difference is the level of relationship that adds some extra material in the M version. Otherwise, they're identical. This is the relationship version. My friend, whom I wrote this for, doesn't ship these two, but I do, which is why there are two versions. Perhaps, perhaps… but now, people are doomed. There’s no chance at life in those frigid waters. The sea will swallow them all... and it is, in part, James’s fault.
No. He can’t get away. He can’t leave the ship, leave these people to die. How could he face his family if he survived when others died? How could he face himself?
