Summary
Ernesto Arellano falls for Gwendolyn Blake on his first day at a new school—only to learn she can’t date unless her older brother, Finney, does first. Since Finney Blake is famously undateable, Ernesto pays his own brother, Robin, to win him over. It’s supposed to be fake. It doesn’t stay that way.

Summary
Albert positioned him in front of it, stepping back just enough to watch. “Call your father,” he instructed, voice low and firm. “Tell him you're okay.” Finney stared at the receiver, confusion swirling in his chest. Why now? After all this time?
His fingers trembled as he lifted it, the plastic cool against his skin. He glanced at Albert, searching for the trick, the trap. But the man's eyes were steady, expectant.
Before he could dial, Albert leaned in close, breath warm against Finney's ear. “And if you say anything else-anything about me, about where you are-there will be punishment. Understand?”

Summary
After a narrow escape from police detection, Albert reluctantly releases Finney, vanishing into the shadows. A year passes, and Finney, still a small, gorgeous boy with huge Bambi eyes and tousled curly brunette hair, appears to reclaim normalcy alongside his sister Gwen. But fate intervenes during their walk home from school when Finney accidentally bumps into Albert, now older but unmistakable. Frozen in shock, Finney brushes off Gwen's concern, haunted by the man's lingering, predatory gaze from afar. That very night, in their modest one-story home, Finney sleeps sprawled adorably in bed, unaware that Albert has trailed him and exploited the open window. The Grabber slips in, chloroforms the boy, and abducts him back to the familiar basement lair. Awakening in chains of memory, Finney confronts his captor, their reunion igniting a raw, possessive sexual encounter.

Summary
After all, kitchens were dangerous (Hope had proved that to be true one time Terrence forgot to lock up the knives) and Finney didn't need danger in his life. He didn’t need to be exposed to it.
Not anymore. Terrence wouldn’t allow it.
And, of course, like any other reasonable parent, he took measures to prevent any danger from reaching his son again.
