    “How’s life been?” Miles feels as Gwen stiffs up under his touch as she speaks.
    Raising an eyebrow, Miles looks at her curiously. “Just trying to make conversation, my bad,” she retorts, rolling her eyes. He can't help but laugh softly. He missed their usual banter more than he had realized.
    “I am okay, Gwen,” he replies. “School, chores, paying rent, saving the city – the usual. Nothing really changed.”
    But it did. Things were different now, even if it hurt to admit it.

    Or a 'what-if' glimpse into post across the spiderverse timeline where Miles fails to forgive and forget that easily, cutting everyone off. Until series of unfortunate events clash Miles and Gwen together again, brining all unresolved issues back to the surface.
