But there’s still a part of him that burns with something unnameable at the fact that Dean never got to sit in his mother’s lap and hear her tell him stories. He looked up and saw John’s cold eyes; he looked up and saw a blaze spreading across the ceiling. Jack’s got an expression on his face that suggests he’s looking up and seeing galaxies being created.
