Summary
Blitzø, a grumpy guard, is stuck babysitting a pricey, heart-shaped magical gem and quickly writes it off as a stupid rock with an ego problem. Stolas, a bored royal brought in to study it, finds the artifact unimpressive and Blitzø far more interesting. Deciding research could be much more exciting, Stolas turns the assignment into a mess of deliberate mishaps, petty theft, and flimsy excuses to keep Blitzø’s attention. That is, until one night, the very important prop is stolen right out from under their noses.

Bones, coming over to Spock's apartment after receiving a message from him about some unnamed problem, is shocked to find Spock so sick with fever it's a wonder he's still standing. In his haste to get Spock resting, he completely forgets the other reason his friend might be burning up.
(In either case, Bones is still a doctor. There's very little he wouldn't do to cure a patient...)
