“It’ll stop in a minute, Dr. Langdon, I’m—”
“You better not be about to say that you’re fine, Dr. King,” Langdon fussed. Mel barely looked at his eyes, that intense stare that said he meant business, that he wasn’t going to let her just walk away and take care of this in the bathroom. Mel sighed, but she shuffled out of the room to take a seat.
“What happened?” Santos asked when Mel plopped down at a workstation. Mel groaned, leaning forward, and she pinched her nose together.
“I sneezed,” she said, since that was all Santos needed to know.

Mel suffers with bodily focused repetitive behaviors (skin picking/biting, nail biting, and nose picking). Sometimes they're worse than others. -
