Summary
The station was literally just a single platform, and they were the only two people who got off the train. Suguru’s parents were stood waiting for them and the moment Suguru was off the train they both smiled wide, genuine smiles.
Satoru watched as Suguru jogged over to tackle his mother in a hug. His father ruffled his hair and put an arm around his shoulders.
Suguru’s mother peered around Suguru and noticed Satoru still stood at the edge of the platform. The train had already pulled away and honestly he felt like dropping down onto the tracks to hide. Maybe he could sneak away?
This was a bad, bad idea, he realized. He shouldn’t have come. The pit in his stomach that had appeared while they were on the train instantly gaped open into a canyon under her kind eyes.
But it was too late now.

After the dust settles on the Star Plasma mission, and after Suguru is coaxed back from the brink, he invites Satoru to join him at his parents' house that summer.

Sukuna tuned back in at the sound of his name reverberating from the brat. He didn’t especially like to deal with sorcerers, not without a fight. And he certainly didn’t think doing so at the moment was a good idea for his sanity or that fragile box of rage he was keeping carefully tucked away.

“Yeah, that curse you ate?”

Summary
If someone had told Satoru that he would be a single parent at nineteen, he would have probably laughed at their face. If someone had told him that Suguru, his one and only, his mate and alpha, would leave him for a hopeless dream, he would have punched them. If someone had told him he would run away from Japan and to South Korea with two children and one on the way, he was sure he would have ended that person for saying something so stupid.
Now, here he is, holding his new born baby with Megumi and Tsumiki on either side of him. He feels happy, content, and yet a part of him feels empty. Satoru thinks 'Suguru should be here, he should be here to meet their newborn baby' but he isn't, and that's the part that hurts the most.

"I'm sorry."
It was already too late for Suguru to hear. Satoru already knew, his six eyes seeing the light on Suguru's chest, shining with a purple hue, withering away as his heart gave out, interlocking with Satoru's own as it went, he sighed, looking at it with wet eyes, trying his hardest not to cry, not to tremble, because it already happened.
It's been a full year since that, Satoru was about to fight Ryomen Sukuna when suddenly everything felt off, like his consciousness was trembling before him, and just for a few seconds, everything felt so at peace again, he opened his eyes to see a beautiful sight, stretching his arm to try and reach the bright but small stars, stilling at the view.
And, finally, he once again felt at peace with everything, closing his eyes again just to wake up in his dorm. Wait, his dorm? His school dorm? What?Or: Takaba found the thought of Satoru time traveling to save them out of this funny, and literally, did so; thanks to that, Satoru will have to figure out how to manage this without anyone suspecting, basically interfiering with every event.
