Summary
When Johnny (local goatherd and harbinger of chaos) frees Namor (vengeful god of the seas) from a centuries-long imprisonment, the village feels that it’s worth at least attempting to sacrifice Johnny to appease Namor’s thirst for vengeance. Namor takes him back to his ruined underwater kingdom, grieving for his beloved seas, where Johnny tries to make himself useful enough that Namor won’t (a) kill him or (b) destroy his village.
Beneath the scarred exterior, Johnny finds an honourable heart to fall in love with. Beneath the inane chatter, Namor finds a kind man to fall in love with. The fish watch without comment.

Peter Parker has just started college. He’d been certain this would be different from high school. He’d make friends. He’d be almost popular. Too bad that those precious first few weeks he’d been too wrapped up in Aunt May’s condition, rushing to and from the hospital, to do any kind of socialising and now that the fog is lifted he finds himself once again unpopular and alienated, with the sole exception of one classmate - Johnny Storm. Johnny is an enigma. Cheerful, weird, and shockingly handsome, Peter doesn’t really know what to make of his new friend.
Spider-Man returns, dusting off his mask and swinging his way through New York, but there’s a newcomer he’s relieved appears to be friend not foe. Night by night he catches glimpses of a flaming man - a Human Torch - until eventually they meet face to face. Working as allies proves to be successful, and Spider-Man is glad of the burgeoning friendship.

Summary
Valkyrie was unpleasantly sober by the time she reached Midgard. She was not nearly drunk enough when Thor turned to empty space and addressed Loki as though he was standing there alive when there was nothing. It didn’t bother Korg nearly as much to listen to the fragmented conversations as Thor spoke to the brother only he could see or hear.

The branches of Yggdrasil revealed themselves to him, opening and allowing him passage. He was Loki, there was nothing he couldn’t do. Magic unfurled about him, drawing him through the realms of impossibility back to life and Thor. He opened his eyes, renewed and reborn, his body younger than it had been but still his. Still immortal and divine, a jötunn wearing æsir skin.
After a brief sojourn in a world in which he was nothing more than a mortal Midgardian but one happily married to Thor, Loki returns once again to Thor's side where they are gods amongst men.
