Summary
You’ve known Joel Miller for years. He’s practically part of the family - always by your dad’s side with that dark, brooding frown.
You’ve never really thought much of him. He’s just…Joel. Dad’s best friend, occasional ride home, somewhat-scowly dinner guest.
Until you come home one summer, after graduating college, and suddenly -
You can’t think about anything anything else.

"I want to replace everything with you."
A fic based on various artwork by @kuchacchi on Twitter where Ash and Eiji try to have sex. It always ends in feelings of disgust, or guilt, there's sometimes flashbacks, but no matter what happens it always ends awfully. Summary
They've been together a while, but Ash notices that Eiji is not the most receptive guy when it comes to his flirting. While he is perfectly fine with a vanilla relationship, he kind-of wants more.
A photography project Eiji is working on provides the perfect solution.
Loosely a sequel to 'The Heart Of A Broken Story', but can be read standalone. Now with illustrations! (And despite the title and premise, this is actually a relatively smut free story - sorry to disappoint).

Summary
It starts as it always does. Three breaths for Ash to close the gap between them. One, long and shuddering, for Ash to take Eiji’s chin between his forefinger and thumb. One to tilt his face towards Ash’s. Three more to be spent waiting, the tension in Eiji’s stomach coiling tighter. Ash’s green eyes pierce his own.
When Eiji was younger, he had a marble that was jade green. He used to keep it in his pocket always, and roll it in his palm when he was nervous or scared. He did this so often, the green coloring wore away. Whenever Ash’s eyes are this close, when Ash is about to kiss him, he thinks of that comfort: the soothing sensation of cool glass swirling against his palm.
One more breath for Ash to press his lips against Eiji’s.
And then Eiji wakes and feels only the ghost of a single kiss, the performance Ash gave long ago, replicated in his dreams.
