Summary
Because now home means this, here; falling asleep to the hum of the TARDIS, and waking up to the Doctor clattering around in the corridor by her bedroom door, claiming to be working on some emergency maintenance but somehow dropping whatever task or tools she’s juggling to pull the still-sleepy human by the hand to the console room, talking at ten thousand miles an hour and ready to un-sink Atlantis before Yaz can think about mentioning breakfast.

A slow burn Thasmin fic set between Eve of the Daleks and concluded just before Power of the Doctor, so expect canon divergence!

Summary
“I will never forgive you for this,” she spits, her voice nothing but splinters.
A shuddery breath escapes the Master’s lips, almost reverent. He shifts himself closer, invading her space, stealing her breaths along with everything else he’s taken from her.
“I’m sorry, Doctor,” he murmurs, almost tender, almost like he means it. “But you never forgiving me was precisely the point.”

Summary
The Doctor doesn’t have much time. She fixates on it, counts the seconds and minutes, because every moment with Yaz is precious. But when a mistake ends with the Doctor gravely injured, she’s convinced it’s the end Time prophesied. Yaz refuses to let that be the case.

Summary
Yaz waits, watching the water’s foamy limbs caress the land. It should bring her peace, the gentle rhythm of their meeting, but their dance only deepens the ache in her chest. It’s just wistful, the way the waves leave and return and leave and return, only to leave again.
In which the Doctor gives Yaz some space. Or, she tries to.
