19 year-old Lenny is sent by her family to Lumiose from Unova to get away from painful memories. The second she arrives in the city her bag gets stolen, she gets her first pokemon in five years, sees a Floette shoot a laser and is dragged into participating into a battle royale all within her first day.
Having missed out on her pokemon journey due to a tragic event five years prior she isn't exactly confident. Perhaps the ancient, massive man running the Hotel she's staying at can help? Maybe she could help him too?
