  3. Summary

Aziraphale has gone to Heaven. Crowley is left behind on Earth.

But what Crowley once said on a park bench is still true. "All of us against all of them." But us and them are vague concepts, and neither Heaven nor Hell is as simple as their leaders try to make them. There are secrets in Heaven's white halls, and surprises in the shadows of Hell.

And on Earth too, there's always more to learn.

Aziraphale and Crowley are still, more or less, on the same side. They just don't know yet what that means, and once they learn it, they still have to figure out what they are, as a pair.

(And why did that fight in the bookshop feel familiar? Why does it feel like that happened before?)

  4. Summary

In one world, Lysa Tully was forced to abort her first child, and the damage unleashed was beyond anything one might have predicted. In this one, she successfully hid a miscarriage and was then married to Stannis Baratheon. In Westeros, when Cersei and Jaime Lannister's choices (because those almost never change) set the realm to war, some alliances are renewed while others shift. Things may not be going well, but they have not yet turned toward disaster.

But that is in Westeros. In Essos... In Essos, surprises are brewing. For a sunlight mother once made demands of a spider, you see, and a silver prince promised lies to a wolf girl, and life takes unexpected turns, sometimes, amongst exiles and bastards and lesser sons.

  5. Summary

It begins when Aerea Targaryen claims a different dragon, and thus is never swept off to Valyria and a torturous death. It continues when the ripples spread in unusual ways, and having more women of House Targaryen strong and present in the world changes things for more of them than one might think...

    Summary

Only a few days have passed since Nero destroyed Vulcan and attacked Earth, but the world around Jen and Spock is already changing along strange new lines—and they are caught right in the middle. Neither of them really has their shit together, but between the two of them they’re making it work. The ship’s still running. They haven’t tried to kill each other again. It’s a start.

    Summary

...the god may speak in the forms of geometry as well as in the shapes of dreams; in the harmony of pure thought as well as in the harmony of sounds; in numbers as well as in words.
    -- Ursula K. LeGuin

    The View from T'Khut

Part I: The Absent World. The planet vanishes, but her people go on.
Part II: An Archaeology of Loss. The world-death left a scar in spacetime, and a void in the heart of the Federation.
Part III: Time and Darkness. In which Ambassador Spock fires unexpected shots.

    Summon the Future

One man can change the present. -- James T. Kirk

    Appendix: Vulcan vocabulary

I am interested in the lacunae of the destruction of Vulcan, and the shape of its future, post-Nero. This story does not explore all of my ideas about that, but it explores some of them. At one point I said to Beatrice, "am I secretly writing a post-apocalyptic story about utopia as praxis?"

This series uses Kelvin/AOS style stardates.
