An unexpected summer storm, a broken carriage wheel on a muddy forest road, and only one single inn for miles around.
The Earl Nikiforov and his young son had been brought to the Yutopia Inn soaked through, mud soiling their fine clothes, shivering in fabrics too light and delicate to be caught in the rain with.
Misfortune had brought Yuuri face to face with Victor, his blue eyes bright and curious even as his fine silver hair stuck to his skin wet and dripping, hands shivering in his embroidered sleeves.
Mayhap it was a sign that they should have heeded, their first meeting taking place under such an unlucky star.
Mayhap it was an omen, if one believes in such things, for as long as they should know each other, misfortune did not leave their sides.

Summary
Izuku never gets One For All, and never goes to UA. Away from Bakugou, he finds that most people don’t care about his Quirklessness as much, and actually makes friends in his class.
This, however, gives rise to a new problem - namely lots of confessions to the sweet and smart boy. In his attempts to make them stop, he lies that he’s dating UA star Todoroki Shouto, certain the lie will never come to light.
Sucks that Shouto stops a villain attack on his school while interning with Endeavor. Trying to keep up the lie Izuku takes Shouto aside and asks him to play along for his classmates.
He doesn’t expect Shouto to come back to his school and keep up the act.

If he had thought the rest of the mansion had been dark, well, he was in for a real treat. The beam of his flashlight was swallowed up by the blackness that seemed to be oozing out of the open door. Lance could barely make out the top step of the staircase that descended into the basement. A chill blew up from the darkness, ghosting past Lance’s face, turning his cheeks red.
