OH FUCKING HELL. I AM SO SORRY. ABOUT ALL OF THIS. EVERYTHING WORKED AGAINST ME. NONE OF THE PROMPTS WERE EASY (I still believe they were meant to be written...how the heck do you make oneliners work as a pic? At least I don't have enough creativity for that - hence I took the only prompt that had more than one line. Took me till the day before yesterday to get an idea how to solve that one, too. Summary
In a Modern, Powered AU, Charles Xavier is a struggling post-graduate student who works part time as a waiter for a catering job. His father once owned the prestigious toy company called The Little Polar Bear, that is until he died in a factory fire and his mother remarried to the Markos who run it to the ground.
As fate will have it, Charles is working the night The Little Polar Bear undergoes a merger with Das Spielwarengeschäft mit der Maus, an overseas toy company that is run by the enigmatic Erik Lehnsherr who always keeps part of his face covered.
This is the story of them falling in love and facing a number of trials and tribulations to stay together. Based loosely from the Norwegian fairytale East of the Sun, West of the Moon and written for Round Two of X-Men Big Bang.

Summary
It's the end of the world. The earth is a wasteland, ruined by nuclear wars, and humans struggle to survive the effects of radiation. Several mutants, on the other hand, are able to thrive and become leaders.
One such leader, Sebastian Shaw, has been the self-proclaimed king of Westchester for decades, and his settlement is supposedly the richest and most prosperous in the world. No one knows, however, that this prosperity has come at the price of mutants being enslaved and experimented on.
Charles Xavier -- no, Subject X, is Sebastian's favorite test subject. He manages to escape, bringing along his greatest secret, but Shaw's men are getting closer, and he is quickly losing hope...

However, the aliens don't seem very interested in discussing things without his "other half," insisting that there is no reason to proceed without Kirk being "fully there."
