Summary
When Lily appears to Severus through the power of the Resurrection Stone, she reveals a long-buried secret about Harry’s parentage and tasks Severus with rescuing Harry from the Dursleys.
Severus isn’t certain he’s up to this new challenge, but he’s determined to keep his promise to Lily—for the boy’s sake and maybe even for his own. After all, Potter may be just like his father, but that fact no longer seems like the divide between them it once did.
Harry, meanwhile, is baffled that Snape of all people is the one to finally take him away from the Dursleys—supposedly for good. He’s determined not to let himself hope that things might truly get better, but his time at Spinner’s End threatens his resolve. Reluctantly, he begins to trust Snape, and he starts to wonder if maybe—just this once—hope doesn’t have to be a bad thing.

When Arthur discovered Merlin’s magic, he thought it was the last of Merlin’s mysteries. Looking back at all the strange excuses, secret trips out of the castle, and odd bits of wisdom on subjects he was meant to know nothing about, ‘sorcerer’ seemed to explain all of it.
...but the secret trips didn’t end after Arthur lifted the magic ban, and neither did the excuses.
(AKA, the one where Merlin puts together an illegal necromancy ring, and everyone except Arthur is in on it.)

Summary
Ever since discovering Merlin's magic, Gwen has been having certain...feelings about it. Feelings like fear, and guilt, and arousal. Gwen figures that last one isn't exactly a problem, just a moderate inconvenience. After all, it isn't like she's planning on telling Merlin about it.
But then Gwen ends up on top of Merlin in a tiny castle compartment where he has to use magic to help them escape, and Gwen's forced to deal with her feelings a bit sooner than anticipated.
