I saw this prompt and said "'gasp' MAJORWOOD" and this was born lol. I started this like six months ago so its sort of outdated but we can ignore that. This is my first fanfic so I'd love so advice and constructive criticism!

He tilted his head to adjust the heavy weight of a thick, golden crown, scanning the crowd with an unreadable glint in his eye. He gazed over the crowd until his eyes landed on Scott.
Scott sucked in a sharp breath as he studied him, not with a look of hate-not like the king of the reds should have-but with a look of genuine curiosity. The corner of his mouth quirked upwards, and he waved.
After a moment of hesitation, Scott waved back.
As the arguments around them grew more heated, nobody noticed their little interaction. A spark of friendship between rival kingdoms.
“I’m Cam,” the young king whispered.
“I’m Scott,” the mage whispered back.
Scott felt a smile light up on his face. Maybe the reds weren't so bad as Owain said.
