Red ignored him, fingers fumbling with the clasp.
“Hnnn…”
“I’m serious! I—hey! Quit it!” Danny swatted Red Hood's hands away, trying to keep the vigilante from unmasking himself. “Nothing good ever comes from a civilian learning a vigilante’s identity. I mean it—stop!”
Red Hood groaned again, louder this time, as if Danny was the unreasonable one.
“Sss…hot,” He mumbled, tugging weakly at the helmet.
“I do not care!” Danny snapped, hands on his hips. “Helmet stays on! Will. You. Just— Nope! Nah uh, don’t you dare!”

“Seriously?” Danny deadpanned, craning his neck to get a better look at the machinery. “That’s what you’re going with?”
The villain, a mid-tier inventor type with a shiny metal exosuit and an ego to match, stopped mid-monologue. “Excuse me?”
Danny sighed, shifting uncomfortably in his bindings. “The containment field is way too unstable. I can feel the interference from here. And the capacitor over there? It’s misaligned. If you actually fired that thing, it’d blow up in your face. Assuming you could even get it to power up, which you can’t, because your wiring’s a mess. The targeting system? It’s way off. I bet you couldn’t hit me if I was standing still. And the coolant system—wait, do you have a coolant system? Because that thing’s about five seconds from overheating.”

Mary watched in disbelief as a young man, who looked to be around the same age as the yongest wayne, was suddenly enveloped by a cloud of thick, green gas.
Panic began to set in around her, the boy's eyes widened with horror, his pupils dilating as he stumbled backward.
Mary's heart raced as the boy started been backing up, eyes wild with fear, looking for a way out.
Before anyone could react, he spotted a group of people that seemed to be his family. She could see the recognition flicker in his eyes, and for a brief moment, she thought he might find some comfort there.
But instead, he let out a feral growl, his eyes shifting from fear to rage. He lunged at the man she assumed was his brother, twin maybe?, his movements surprisingly swift and precise for someone who had just inhaled a cloud of toxic gas.
The crowd gasped in shock as the two young men, who could have been mirror images of each other, began to grapple.
