When Mydei finally emerges from the Sea of Souls after nine harsh winters, the most precious thing in the world to him isn’t his name, his body or his life. But two words he can’t remember the origin of: Aedes Elysiae.
As the years pass in exile, he finds himself plagued by knowledge that comes from the same maybe-past or maybe-future that wasn’t quite Mydei’s and yet was.
It took four years for him to stumble across Aedes Elysiae, a boy that calls the place home, and why those words were engraved upon his soul.

Mydei choked on his juice, the red liquid spilling over his chest like blood on a battlefield. He coughed a few times, chest heaving, but Krateros had no sympathy for him right now.
“I have no idea about the courtship you speak of,” Mydei replied, voice rough. He looked at Krateros incredulously.

Ken really has the worst of luck. Always has, always will. Even his good luck, like being the object of some weird form of affection of a freaking dragon, feels more unlucky to have than not...
Oh well, it couldn't get much worse than that... right?
Haha, the world just loved proving him wrong.
On top of everything else he has to deal with, he has to hide the fact that he is aware of the supernatural around him, or risk getting targeted and killed by just getting caught in the crossfire of evil yokai and an easily pissed off dragon.
