This fic went on for much longer than I planned, nearly double the word count, but I'm just glad it's finished. There's not a lot of romance going on in this, so don't go in expecting it. I've got a video saved of Jason looking down at this girl in bed and leaving her alone which kind of spawned the idea for this fic. I just think Jason would love some kinship with kids like him, which is kind of the plot of this whole thing.Bookmarked by Orion_Andromeda

Summary
Soundwave's banishment to the shadowzone has been bleak, uneventful and unending. He hasn't been able to contact Megatron or the Nemesis. He's low on fuel. If it weren't for the emotion-suppressing protocols he implemented before the war, he would be miserable.
And then one day a dimension-hopping Rodimus falls into the shadowzone and offers him a way out.
“You'll like the Lost Light,” said Rodimus. “Everyone gets a second chance, there. You wanna stay here forever?”

Summary
"Omega did alright for a little while. He tried, he really did. The harder he tried to fight the worry, though, the more it consumed his thoughts. Sitting there with his Starlight, his baby, finally snuggled in his arms, such an unfathomably cherished gift, he still couldn’t get out of this awful headspace. Even with his lips pressed to her precious little head, comforted by her newborn smell, all he could think about here at the beginning of her life was the potential end of it. What was wrong with him?!"
The story of Omega and Terzo's lives together from Terzo's resurrection until his final death (and beyond), as told through the lens of Omega's mental health.

Summary
"The stars are always reflective of their environment, and in the cold, dead space, where the line between light and darkness is sharply drawn, the stars lived by the same sense of perfection and binary, placing everything into neatly organized boxes while discarding anything that didn't fit. After all, if life continues for eternity, there's ample time to put every speck of dust in its proper place on the shelf.
But in the world of life that comes to an end, things are completely different. Here, light flowed gently into darkness, casting shadows, and darkness danced with sunbeams that shone through windows. This world was more complex than the simple distinction between light and dark, correct and wrong. Life here didn’t care for rules – it had too little time and so much to do, resulting in a beautiful state of entropy in which balance thrives."alternatively:
-"Would you still like me if I was a rock?"
