Thomas managed to catch what he'd thought was a simple cold, only to quickly develop fatigue and a fever. He tried to sit and watch tv to feel better, but Logan had insisted that he take some fever reducers, drink a full glass of water, and then head off to bed. The other sides had claimed Logan was being too strict and that he should just let Thomas relax, but after enough time listening to his sides arguing with each other, Thomas eventually went upstairs to go sleep anyway.
And that was when Logan started acting a bit…off.

“My my, that certainly didn’t go very well for you, did it?” a voice above and to the left sounded, smooth and sultry.
Logan looked up. Yellow. The obvious answer. Such a foolish oversight on his part. “Deceit.” he prided himself on sounding almost as if he hadn’t just been strangled. “Then this is your doing, I take it?” No surprise. No outrage. Just a cool statement of the facts. Exactly as he was meant to be.

What exactly went down between between Janus and Logan when Janus kidnapped him out of the episode? What is it that went down between them that made Janus so guilty and Logan so angry when he reappeared? The missing scene as I've chosen to imagine it between Janus and Logan before Janus appears to impersonate him.

There's forever a whirling inferno inside Logan's ribcage. It compactly traps his organs into its fiery claws, what was once supposed to be blood and vessel and life burnt asunder. It is at these very moments that Logan most empathizes with the stars. With the continuous bounce of particle against particle, a rapid flame that vomits its luminosity into distant planets.
