The sun had set long ago, yet Hudson River Park was abuzz with far more activity than usual. Its riverside position was just a stone’s throw away from the West Village, making it a prime location for watching New York City’s annual Fourth of July Macy’s fireworks show. The Fourth of July always drew a crowd to the city for its spectacular fireworks displays, but this year was markedly busier, and justifiably so.
This was the first Independence Day since the Blip.

And, to the surprise of no one, Valentina’s fix for their cratering public image—despite the fresh scar tissue of what New Yorkers were bitterly dubbing “V-Day” just five months prior—was a glitzy app that was all things circling the New Avengers.
Who will be in charge of managing it?
Ava and Walker, despite Alexei’s extremely loud protest.
What they didn’t anticipate was one joke to derail somehow and end up with #Boblena going viral, with the entire world tuning in to find out if a former Black Widow and this strange man called “Bob,” who looked awfully like the silhouette of the entity who caused V-Day will be “end game.”
Or: Ava and Walker accidentally created #Boblena and decided to RUN with it.

A post-Thunderbolts trilogy (plus spinoffs) that serves as a character study on Robert “Bob” Reynolds (and other characters).
As an (un)official member of the New Avengers, Bob is given a second chance to rebuild a life lost to addiction, a troubled childhood and years of drifting without purpose.
Past scars however are not healed easily as his dreams force him to confront the fractured selves within him—the God and the End —before any of them decides who he really is.
Includes references and Easter eggs to other Sentry related media as well.

“Hey, I know what I saw, you cheater,” John states with all the finality he can muster up at 4am.
“Oh, please. You were barely paying attention after that,” Yelena laughs quietly.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” John says dumbly, teeth back on the straw of his juice box. He sucks hard to avoid talking, willing his strength back so as to not crush the damn thing.
Yelena puts her PopTart in one hand. John must’ve been too focused on the happy memory to notice her opening the package. She brings her phone out from under her pillow with the non-PopTart hand. John watches as she unlocks it, the facial recognition somehow allowing her in, despite the complete lack of light. She turns it around and hands it to John. He takes it, faced with a picture of himself.
