Today would've been like any other day, if the Morning Crew hadn't noticed Philza's lack of replies towards all greetings when the comms announced his presence. Or how he wasn't in the house or bunker atop the Wall.So off to find him they go! But once they do...
... the sight greeting them is of him all in white, the telltale sign of having taken the Federation's 'Happy Pills'. Only his behavior was nowhere alike that of the previous "patients".So it is up to them, soon joined by other people, to find out Phil's reasons for taking the medicine, and perhaps do more than just give him the antidote to fully heal him.
However, nobody ever anticipated the *other* changes that are slowly occurring in Quesadilla, changes that not even the Federation could prevent...Series

“You do understand that you’re caring for the thing meant to bring destruction and chaos to our world, right?” The woman asks, Phil looking behind him fondly as Techno grabs at the ends of his wings.
“He’s just a child.” Phil answers distractedly, humming as his wings get gently yanked at.
“He’s the first of three to destroy life as we know it! Shouldn’t we, well, get rid of him?!”
“Oh, no.” Phil raises his eyes with a sharp glare. “Believe me, I have my own way of preventing the apocalypse.”

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)

Summary
Wings are a symbol of ambition, of power, of respect.
They are not something that can be taken from the universe by force, they must be given. They are given to only the most capable, to the worthy.
And Techno just woke up with wings.
OR
AU where wings are a sign of being blessed by the gods or something along those lines. The royal family are the only ones to ever have wings, but the universe decides to have a bit of fun, and gives Techno some.
This causes some issues, considering the fact the royal family hears of Techno's new wings, and then deems him to be family. Even if Techno doesn't think the same.

Phil’s head popped into the room. “What happened? What was that noise? Why is everyone-- Techno?”
Tommy spun around, the pig swinging in his grip as he held it up by its little pig armpits, and now shoved it in Phil’s face. “Phil, I accidentally turned this weird freak into a pig! What do I do?”

Or, after dealing with the umpteenth shitty foster family, Tommy decides to move out...
Into a tent.
Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances ruin his happy little home, and he is taken in by the Craft family, who have a dark secret of their own-- when touched by an outsider to the family, they turn into the animals of an old folktale!
