Chuuya disregarded the wary gazes trained on him. He crossed to the bullet-ridden table, drew the documents from his suit, and dropped it onto the desk with some sort of finality.
“We’re done,” he said flatly. “I’m filing for a divorce.”
And that was how the ADA found out that Dazai wasn’t single, but taken, married, and soon to be divorced—all in one sitting.

Zanka had known Jabber for a solid chunk of his adolescent life, unfortunately.
He knew him when he was still scrawny, when he was even more annoying than now. Knew him when he took all of Zanka’s firsts in only eleventh grade. Knew him when he left the blonde for college, lips sealed tight, not saying one word about his departure. Even knew him when he came back months later, rocking the younger’s world in more ways than one.
Out of all the things he could remember, he should’ve remembered this: he always kept a promise.

Dazai seems to be back to his usual I-love-giving-Chuuya-a-headache self, and thus, loudly and proudly declares: “I have two guesses as to where we have been transported!” he pauses purely for the dramatics and just stares at Chuuya smugly, “wouldn’t you like to hear them, chibi?”
Chuuya rubs the bridge of his nose, shutting his eyes tightly, “Just spit it out, bastard.”
“So rude,” the mackerel whines at him, at which he can just groan desperately. However, the gods smile at him from the skies above, through the tiny break of sunshine in the sea of clouds, and Dazai finally gets to the point. “We have either travelled to the future, or we were transported to an alternate universe. I am more inclined to believe the first one.”
Or: Chuuya and Dazai work out their relationship while being chased by a hero or two.

Dazai had expected life after the Decay of Angels incident to go pretty smoothly. Sure, there were the bumps of the deal Fukuzawa had made with Mori and the Agency's tattered reputation— not to mention the nagging feeling he got whenever he thought of Fyodor— but it was nothing he wouldn't be able to handle with time and an unfortunate amount of effort.
That was of course before he'd received a letter from European wizarding authorities. Well, he might as well make the most of this situation and knock out some of his problems in the process. Better yet, he could drag Chuuya along for the ride.
