Wilbur was made to bask in the shine. He was made to sit atop the throne with a crown adorned on his head. Wilbur was made to be royalty. He was never made to play the role of Tommy’s brother.
Tommy understands this now.
And Tommy? Tommy was nobody; Wilbur wasn’t nobody. He was never supposed to stand or be seen with Wilbur, only to point the spotlight on him. They were never meant to be brothers. It was never meant to be.

Or, Tommy thinks Wilbur doesn’t want to be family with him anymore and leaves. Too bad Wilbur doesn’t like that.

“Do you spar?”
Theseus frowned. It had been a while since he had. Usually, on most days, he would haul himself in his chamber. He halfheartedly shrugged, murmuring, “Used too.”
“Did you enjoy it?”
“I did,” Theseus replied. His gaze turned to Ranboo, inclining his head. “Do you?”
Ranboo shook his head. “No, I don’t.”
Theseus offered, “Do you wish to learn?”
Ranboo pondered before shaking his head. “No. I do not need to.”
“But do you wish to?” Theseus pressed, his tone firm and unwavering, not taken lightly at his question being ignored. A heavy pause hung between them. Ranboo’s gaze dropped to his hands, maneuvering them, contemplating with furrowed brows. He lifted his gaze to meet Theseus’, searching for something. He had found it shortly, a newfound glint within his gaze. And, finally, with a deep breath, he nodded, “I do,” Ranboo spoke, soft and true.
…
Or, The royal family replaces him with Ranboo so Theseus found it reasonable to replace them with Ranboo, too. (Spoiler: They did not like that.)

When Tommy snuck away from the castle, it was only meant to be for a breath of fresh air. Really. Just a quick trip, then he'd be back.
What he didn't plan for was his batshit crazy looney toons brother, his bloodthirsty father, or the mountain of a man he met on his travels. All of whom think he belongs in the castle, under their watchful eyes.
Tommy's about to learn what it means to be a part of the royal family.
