Bandee had been stressed and nervous, as of late.
It’d been thundering a lot. Commonly, as he was trying to sleep.
Too bad that was one of two things he was very scared of. (The other thing was heights.)It’s horribly embarrassing to him. He’s supposed to be better than this.
But .. Kirby’s here. That puffball that he’d already written off as a bit annoying.
Dedede and them had been on better terms since their first meeting, getting closer.
Bandee had been going.. Mostly out of his way to not interact with Kirby since the time they fought.He supposes he’ll try to be nice, this time.
Or, Bandee gives Kirby a(n unintentional) second chance.

“You’ve had yer nose in that book all day! Hell, even now when I’m tryna talk to you ‘bout the kinda day you had, you’ve just been brushin’ me off like some kinda pest!”
“Dedede,” Meta began slowly. “I read every night. I don’t understand why tonight is any different from the other times I’ve read a book before going to sleep.”
“‘Cuz I know yer hidin’ something from me this time– I just know it!” Dedede accused with a steadily growing temper. “I can tell from that sneaky look plastered all over yer lying face!”
