Harry glares. He opens his mouth, and feels the beginning the snake’s language pass his lips, and this isn’t what he wants, what’s the point of insulting Malfoy if he can’t understand him –

Summary
In this universe, no one breaks Harry out of his cupboard. No Hagrid, no Hogwarts letter, no magic to save him. Just a twelve-year-old boy who realizes that waiting for rescue is a fairy tale, and fairy tales don't come true.
