Summary
It's been 2 years since Banana Fish and since Eiji departed for Japan.
It's been 2 years since Ash woke up covered in blood at the New York Public Library and 2 years since Ash had last spoken to Eiji, the words on the letter being the last thing ever spoken between the two.
He had turned his life around, overcame his fate and worked on himself; something Eiji had wanted for him. Cleaning himself from his past life and finally getting over what had happened, Ash Lynx had turned the violence around in New York City. He finally became the person Eiji had saw in him this entire time.
All that hard work changes as news broke of 12 year old Michael Glenreed's disappearance. Eiji Okumura travels to a large distant island called Manhattan, in search for information on the mythical Banana Fish in order to save his land from it's 100 year curse. With tips from locals, he was told the one person who's seen this mythical creature is none other than the notorious Captain Ash Lynx- one of the most wanted pirates on the land.

Meanwhile, Ash Lynx tries his best to throw his friends off the path that leads to the truth, afraid they will uncover the truth and how he played a part.
