Summary
The beginning of Autumn 1944. The Allies have invaded, Normandy is liberated, something is going on with Aramis and Porthos, and Athos has no clue how to move on. With nowhere to go, Athos finds himself at Ninon’s doorstep.
Complicated Athos/Ninon stuff including some (non-explicit) sexual scenes. Swearing, PTSD, dissociation and general trauma. Some period-typical attitudes to homosexuality.
Heavily references events from Chanson d’Automne. Hey, I’m not the boss of you, so you can read in whatever order you want, but I would recommend reading that first if you want to get the gist here.

They linger for less than a second, but what she sees there reminds her of a spark to guzzoline. Sudden fire, light, an explosion and flurry of feeling that she can’t even begin to comprehend.
