Even though the two facts had little to nothing to do with each other, Max still tried to keep them to himself, even if he could for the life of him not lie convincingly. It would not do him good if he was to show his preference for the Ferrari driver over his own teammates – Just like rambling over pretty people was embarrassing in general. Also, not everyone wants to hear you yap about the same person over and over again, true facts or not.
