This is written from a (first?? idk ive change it in drafts so much lmfao) person of an OC of mine in TWD. That characters name is Oxy. (well not really but if you read you'll find out more.)
Oxy had abusive parents growing up, and was right about the age Carl was when the world went to shit, so 7-8 ish. Oxy was in scouting at this time, and was taught by their father how to shoot a gun. Oxy's dad was kind of physco and thought that something bad like zombies might happen, and that ontop of being an alcoholic really made him want to train his two kids, (unammed rn) and Oxy, how to shoot.
A couple years later, set in the Alexandria Era right after Negan takes over so like season 7, Oxy finds themselves in a forest. Then gets found by a couple of recruiters.
