Most nights, you and three of your companions slept underneath the stars near the crackling fire. Tonight, the rain came down hard and fast, extinguishing the fire and dampening the bedrolls. Astarion threw his decorative pillows into his red and purple tent and then grabbed both poles that held it open. You asked him if you could take shelter in his tent, and he said ‘no.’ Since you slept together not too long ago, you thought he would have given you a different answer. As flirty as he was, he liked his space, and you weren’t exactly in a relationship. Bringing you into his tent felt much more intimate than taking you in the forest. He wasn’t ready for that. Still, it would be heartless of him to leave you out in the rain, especially when the thunder rumbled and lightning flashed across the sky.
