Summary
At 23, with an uncertain future, Jisung watches his days unfold in front of the 7-Eleven cash register where he's been working for a few months, having finally mustered the courage to face the world again after being isolated by his anxiety, which he still struggles with as he tries to gradually take control of his life.
At 25, Minho has his dream job at a cat café in Incheon, where he has been living for several years, in order to make life a little easier for his mother and sister in his hometown. His life is far from perfect, but after a difficult adolescence, he can finally say there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Summary
Life grants Takashi a second chance to live, so, after one last memory on the beach, he returns again to the moment in which his classmate 'A-kun' was supposed to fall out of the window, a fact that never happened, finding him in the same place just as disoriented as him. From that moment on, Takashi goes back to living his life as if nothing had happened, although hazy memories of soft, fluffy wings on his back, a small, dirty room, and a man with an unfriendly face invade him from time to time.

“We could get married, ya know,” Jisung suggested. Minho jolted at the comment, taken by surprise.
“Hyunjin filled me in on the new benefit,” Jisung explained as Minho kept his eyes trained on the glass before him. “We could do it. Get married. Say fuck the system. They wouldn’t say no.” Jisung had no idea whether or not it was the soju talking, but he went with it anyway, allowing the words to continue to fall from his mouth. “We could stick it to the man.”
“Or in the man,” Minho added with a seriousness that made Jisung chuckle. The two fell into a fit of laughter. Jisung clung on to Minho’s arm as he rambled on, “The others say we’re already practically married anyway.”

“Right. Thank you for your help, Jeongin-ssi. Do you think you could get Jisung-ssi to answer a couple of questions for us?”
Jeongin nods and turns to tap the crouching man in the yellow rainjacket on the shoulder. They are so near the edge of the cliff that Minho fears even the lightest tap will make him fall to his death.
He’s even more relieved that he’s not the one near the edge of the cliffs when Jisung turns around and almost gives him and Changbin a heart attack.The lower half of the man’s face is almost completely covered in a dark reddish brown smeared out substance, and his fingers are stained with the same color. His hair is flying in every direction and the contrast of the bright yellow and gritty bloody red makes him look like an uncanny monster right out of a horror film.
Changbin curses out loud and Minho inhales sharply in surprise. “Jesus fuck. What happened to you?”OR: When a series of strange events occur in a small coastal town, Detective Lee Minho must determine the commonality between a string of mysterious murders, fresh graves dug in the woods, and Han Jisung.

Summary
“We’ve got one last song for you tonight,” Jisung says and the crowd lets out a collective groan. Jisung nods knowingly, putting his hands up in surrender. “I know, I know,” he laughs, and the sound trickles into Minho’s belly and gives him butterflies. What the hell is wrong with him tonight? Maybe the pre-show shot that he, Jisung, Felix, and Chan took was laced with something.
“Thank you again, you’ve been great. This is ‘Volcano.’”
OR: Minho learns he has a crush on his best friend at the most inconvenient time possible.

Summary
Minho's used to silence. He's used to the way the villagers avoid his eyes when they visit him asking for help, the way they look at him with fear and distrust when they think he can't see. He's used to his world being the sprawling garden within the old ivy-covered iron fence and the familiar warmth of the cottage. He's used to it just being him, his cats, and the old journals.
It isn't until a villager somehow wanders into the garden despite the enchantments that he's faced with how unbearably isolated he's become, or how hard it is to open up to someone after years of being alone— or how freeing it is to know someone understands him.

Or, the one where Minho is a lonely village witch and Jisung is a plucky village boy who's determined to befriend him.
