Together in silence, the boys listen to the echoing sound of the night-time swamp. Will's fingers trace red swirls on the uneven grain of the porch.
"Maybe we should clean up," he mutters. Then he starts, struck; and those tired, mischievous eyes turn now to Hannibal, glittering with some fresh new idea, same way they'd glittered when he'd come panting into Hannibal's mouth, pulled him up by the collar of his shirt and grazed his earlobe with his teeth as he'd whispered hey, let's kill Daddy.
"Hey," he starts, same as way-way-way back then, "hey. Hannibal, Han, let's take a dip in the river."
The river. Back behind the Graham's fragile shack there is a river. It is too small for fishing, too shallow to swim in, just deep enough for a bath, just clear enough to drink. Hannibal would not call it a river, but then again, it is not his to call. Will's river, he thinks, and smiles.

Adam straightens up, intrigued. "What can you show me?"
Nigel's back up in his face again, closer this time; Adam can taste his hot sharp breath on every inhale. "Oh, pretty witchling," Nigel grins, teeth like a shark's, stained so faintly red that Adam never would have noticed if he wasn't so close. "Every fuckin' pleasure in the world. All yours, if you want it. I could fill you to bursting, fuck you so good you'd be ruined for anyone, anything, after me." He's speaking low; a tentacle caressing his ankle, lips pressed up against Adam's ear. It sends a shiver through him, and Nigel feels it; squeezes his leg tighter, smiles into Adam's neck.
It's a bit of a struggle to find his breath, but Adam manages: "You're talking about sex. You're asking if I want to have sex with you."
Nigel snorts, a hot huff of air into his collarbone. "Yeah, gorgeous. Mother-fuckin' sex."

Instead, Mizora had thrown him to the dirt and taken what she pleased.
Wyll gave up trying to fight back after about the third time. The contract was airtight when it came to matters of the body. He was hers. No loopholes. No escape.

UPD: Thank you all for supporting DoC! Sadly, the hyperfixation on DM that allowed me to churn these babies out has faded.
I'm going to "close" the series for now, but around the release of Season 2 of the anime, expect me back :)

Before, they were only as close as Billy let anyone get, but lately the distance between them has been shrinking. He’s not the kind of guy who likes to talk about himself. Mostly he listens, prods, collects, but never offers. He learned young that when you’ve got a brain like he does you can’t afford to tell people what you’re thinking or how you really feel. Stu isn’t one of those people though, Stu has to keep his thoughts secret too and now this is theirs to keep, between them.

Reluctantly, Tatum retreated to her boyfriend’s bedroom, kicking a pile of clothes to the side just to get the door all the way open. The Machers had a housekeeper (of course they did; even for Westboro, they were rich ) but their attempts at teaching their son “personal responsibility” kept her from making a dent in the nuclear disaster of his room. It was a nice idea in theory--force him to clean up after himself if he doesn’t want to live in squalor--but a total joke in practice, leaving an unnavigable sea of everything Stu had ever owned perpetually obscuring the carpet. Tatum hopscotched her way through it to perch on the end of his bed. At least he’d put sheets on it today, thank God.

A fruit-salad of information. Here, in the dark bathroom at a little past three in the morning, Mike breathes carefully, and tries to dissect where the supposed ingredients of his fucked-up dream salad actually came from.
